Diane is a New York State Licensed and Nationally Board Certified Massage Therapist located in Port Jefferson. National certification requires continuing education, keeping Diane up to date on the latest techniques. Diane's training was received at the New York College of Health Professions and has been licensed and nationally certified since 2005. Further training in Myofascial Release was received from John F Barnes, Physical Therapist of 45 years, International Lecturer and creator of the Myofascial Release technique. Diane is also certified in the Usui Tradition of Reiki.
After a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia many years ago, Diane was introduced to massage therapy. Having personally experienced the many therapeutic benefits of massage therapy, Diane is passionate about her work and prides herself on the focused and individualized treatment provided to every client.
